Kerry Mack Wright served as an educator for 31 years after which he served as a pastor for 12 years. In his retirement, he pursues his love of writing. His first novel, Names Written in Water, has received very positive reviews.

He is married to Sharon Moulton Wright, and he has four daughters and several grandchildren. He and Sharon share a home in the Atlanta area with their dog Smokey.
